The king and queen were impressed and the dish spread quickly to the masses.
During the 1900’s, pizza reached the inner cities of United States of America and the dish was baked in different styles and flavors in every city. During World War II, American soldiers brought pizza to their place of assignment thus becoming popular to the neighboring countries of USA. The late 20th century saw pizza as an iconic dish. Considerable changes have been made on the dish such as the thickness of the crust and it came in a wide array of flavors and toppings. Popular global pizza chains have conglomerated to sell new additions to pizza to hook up food-savvy consumers.

Others point to the manner of tossing the crispy crust of high glutten bread flour as the secret to New York pizza’s yummy flavor.
